Located in highly sought after, accessible neighborhoods throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, our homes are crafted to provide comfort, convenience, and a place where your family can thrive.
S. ANTONIO FRANCIS, PRINCIPAL
S. Antonio Francis started Francis Development in 2006, a full service construction and development firm focusing on residential infill building as well as Volt Energy in 2009 a clean tech company with a focus on commercial renewable energy development.
Prior to Antonio's entrepreneurial career, he was charged with Mid-Atlantic Sales and Business Development for Lung RX a start up subsidiary of United Therapeutics (UT), a leader in the pulmonary hypertension space. Prior to joining UT, Antonio began his career with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals where he successfully managed and grew approximately 180 accounts.
Antonio earned his MA in Biotechnology with a concentration in business from Columbia University, and a BS in Biology from Howard University. Antonio holds a builder’s and GC license in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
When out of the office…As an avid DC Sports fan, you can find Antonio at a sporting event or spending time with his wife, two children and Cavapoo (Lady Francis).
ALYSA FRANCIS VP, OPERATIONS
Alysa oversees the business operations of Francis Development including the design and construction teams. She is also responsible for all communications and brand strategy. Prior to joining FD, Alysa worked in Business Intelligence for several companies in the Washington DC Metropolitan area as a Data Analytics professional, where she used big data for strategic planning and performing market research. Alysa holds a BS in Economics and Statistics and played Division 1 soccer for the George Washington University. She is a native Washingtonian and went to St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC. Alysa is also a licensed realtor in Maryland.
When out of the office….As an avid foodie, you can find Alysa cooking at home with her husband, two children and Cavapoo (Lady Francis) or out sampling DC’s newest restaurants.
CRISTHIAN PRUDENCIO, DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Cristhian brings more than 20 years of construction management experience to our team. Cristhian is intimately familiar with the building codes in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. At FD he oversees all aspects of the build process, from demolition to punch out and enjoys the challenge of taking a project from paper to reality.
When out of the office….Cristhian is an avid fitness enthusiast. When he’s not working out, can find Cristhian spending time with his kids at home.

LADY FRANCIS, PROJECT INSPECTOR INSPECTOR IN TRAINING AND LIFE FRIEND
Lady Francis is Francis Development’s newest project inspector in training! She's honing her skills to sniff out potential problems while ensuring optimal safety and quality on-site. Her charming personality uplifts team morale and she welcomes visitors with a friendly tail wag.
When out of the office…Lady Francis loves playtime with children, snuggling up for cozy cuddles, and enjoys binge-watching her favorite shows on Netflix.
